Membership of the R.W.T.A. is open to all operators of public refrigerated warehouses/distribution centres and refrigerated transport businesses.

The company or business becomes the Member (not the individual) and each Member company is entitled to nominate a person or persons to be their official representative.

Companies may join through a particular State Division, or, as in the case of national companies, join on a national basis. If a company joins a particular State Division they are entitled to attend all of that State Division's meetings and vote on any matters which require resolution by the majority of Members. Members are also entitled to vote at any Extraordinary General Meeting and the Annual General Meeting of the association.

Members are encouraged to not only attend the State Division meetings - a great opportunity to compare notes with other operators, hear a range of speakers on a variety of topics - but also take part in the social functions (Christmas parties, Annual Golf days etc) - but to raise issues, industry matters, problems etc.

Members are also encouraged to take a role in the conduct of the State Division's affairs by standing for positions on the Executive Committee of the State Division.

Associate Membership

An associate membership is open to providers and suppliers of goods and/or services to the refrigerated warehousing and transport industry sectors which allows for the interchange of ideas and presentation of new products with and to the Membership.

Simply contact either the National Office or your relevant State Division secretariat (see contacts page on this website and information on the R.W.T.A., together with the necessary Application Form will be forwarded to you, or select the downloadable version in PDF Membership Application Form.

Membership of the association runs from the beginning of each financial year to the end.
