Mathew Munro

CEO of ATA (Australian Trucking Association)

Mathew Munro is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Trucking Association (ATA), a role he has held since July 2023.

With more than 25 years’ experience in public policy across both industry and government, Mathew brings deep expertise in transport, agriculture, and national supply chain issues.

Prior to joining the ATA, he served as Executive Director of the Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters’ Association (ALRTA) and Policy Director at NatRoad, representing key sectors of Australia’s freight industry.

the Real Estate Institute of Australia, ABARES, and the ACT Government. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science, postgraduate qualifications in Applied Science, and an MBA, equipping him with a strong blend of technical, policy, and leadership capability.
