RWTA are pleased to announce that we have created a Strategic Partnership with the Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Foundation (HHTS).
The RWTA encourages the refrigerated warehouse and transport sector to look after their health; physical and mental alike. We have paired as a united front to support workers throughout Australia to create overall wellness with a focus on mental health.
Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds is an initiative by industry, for industry, that exists to address industry-specific challenges regarding mental health and wellbeing.
When you become a member, you get access to resources and support. We’ll also keep you up to date with relevant news and new resources as they become available. By becoming a member, you’re not only supporting yourself, but everyone right across the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries.

HHTS is a new, national, not-for-profit charitable entity established to create and deliver a single national mental health strategy for the road transport and logistics industries. They have, as their core objective, to improve the mental health and wellbeing of every worker across the broader road transport, logistics and supply chain sectors.
To achieve this goal, HHTS will be built upon three key pillars:
An increase in the number of people trained in mental health at transport and logistics facilities
Standardisation of policies and regulation at transport and logistics facilities
Helping the individual be healthier from a diet and mental health perspective
The voluntary Board of Directors and Advisory Board members of HHTS include leading senior executives from a mixture of industry and skills based backgrounds including major
national road transport operators and customers, regulators, mental health experts and other key subject matter experts.
The RWTA and HHTS are excited to be working together to support good health and strong relationships within our industry!
